Perceiving Ability Notes/Permissions
Apollo Justice, just like Trucy Wright has an ability to pick up nervous habits people tend to do when they're hiding something from him or lying. It's been noted in AA4 that Apollo's ability is actually stronger than Trucy's.
Examples of this in canon:
When Lamiroir lies in Turnabout Serenade, Apollo can see her swallowing.
In Turnabout Succession, Apollo sees that Spark Brushel sweats a lot when he's lying (it's really gross).
In the Monstrous Turnabout, Apollo sees Damien Tenma's right eye twitches when he's lying.
This ability was passed on from his mother and has gone unnoticed until his second case as a defense attorney. The bracelet he wears helps him to notice these tensions on a person he's focused/looking at. It basically tightens around his wrist when someone is lying to him.
These are physical habits he notices, so he is not a mindreader.
And for the most part, he doesn't really notice or say anything unless he's really focused on someone and it's important. Ex: relevant to the case he's working on.
So if and when a situation comes up where this may happen, I'd like to know if it's all right for Apollo to go lie detector on your character. If so, what nervous habits, twitches, tensions does your character do when they're lying?
